¡Hola, amigos!
I would like help with speaking Spanish. I find it a lot easier to understand it (if it's slow!)than speak it. I also don't know what to talk about or how to put sentences together so they make sense. I wish I could just walk up to someone that speaks Spanish and start talking to them in español, but I'm scared that I'll reach a dead end where I don't know what to say or what they are saying! Can anyone help me have more confidence with speaking?
gracias...

gracias por su respuesta, patrice!
This is what I got from what you replied:
We begin, I also like to talk to someone and I have fear as you. So I think we need to understand more practice. Tell me what you think my prayers up and understand? Are there errors? If there please help.
Is this what you meant? If so, I'm not sure what you meant by about your prayers up and understood...

Shan L1,
Lo siento Yo necesito responder en Ingles. First, I laughed out loud when I read what you thought I said! Learning Spanish with others is so much fun for me!
I tried to say: Lets begin. I also would like to speak to someone and I have fear like you. Therefore, I believe that we need to practice to learn more. Tell me, What do you think of my sentences above and do you understand? Are there errors? If yes, please help me.
Okay, now Shan L1 or Regino how about you give me a sentence or two in Spanish and I will try to interpret your efforts?
Patrice

Hola!
Yo soy estudio espanol tambien. Habla solo un poco porque no tengo mucho palabra. Me gusta hablar con ustedes ..
(What I hope I said..)
Hello,
I'm studying Spanish also. I speak only a little because I don't have that many words. I would like to speak with ye.
I'm not great at conjugating sentences and I think that's where my main problems are :-)

I think the most important thing about speaking in Spanish is not being perfect but being understood.
Find one or two Spanish speakers who are willing to practice talking with you. Just try to be understood and you can be corrected to improve. If you don't do it, you will never gain confidence.

You can also use Skype to communicate with Spanish speakers who want to learn English. There are websites that help you coordinate and find such speakers (e.g. italki). This won't work until you have some limited Spanish speaking ability so you can help the other person learn English while they help you learn Spanish. Some of these sites also offer paid lessons, but those are expensive and are unlikely to give you the hours needed to actually improve.
I am not yet ready for something like this, but hopefully once I have worked more with Rocket Spanish, I will be good enough to make use of such services.

Bienvenidos otra vez uds.,
¿Cómo están uds.? Yo veo un "Spanish Guru", "Spanish Leader, "Spanish Novice" y unos "Certified Hispanophiles".
¿Ellos quisieran practicar español? Si quieres explica este proverbio en español.
A lo hecho, pecho. :)
