two meanings for a word

GayleM

how do I know from the sentence if 'manana' is morning or tomorrow
ricardo-rich

ricardo-rich

Hola Gayle,
Some examples: Mañana voy a trabajar en  el jardín. Tomorrow I'm  going to work in the garden. Mañana por la mañana voy a la tienda. Tomorrow (in the) morning I'm going to the store. In the morning : por la mañana, en la mañana. It is six in the morning: Son las seis "de" la mañana not "en" la manana, when referring to time of day. Hope this helps.
Saludos,
Ricardo

I just look at the word in context, and see if that makes any sense.
