Cannot download audio lessons to PC

Hello,

I cannot unfortunately write to support on this as the online form doesn't work. 

 

I recently purchased Rocket French Course. I did so because I can download all the lessons to my computer. During trial, the option was in the audio player on the website and I successfully downloaded the first lesson.

But now, after purchasing the course, the option is gone. I tried accessing the course page both in Firefox and in Microsoft Edge (both in normal and incognito to disable any extensions I might have).

How do I download the audio lessons to MP3/MP4 format? I am not interested in storing them in the android app.

You can only download the audio that comes at the beginning of the Audio Lessons, and that can only be done through the app. You have not been able to download mp3 as a freestanding feature for many years (before my time and I have been on for 3+ years).

I downloaded successfully an audio lesson through the web browser during my trial period, I have one file on my PC.

Also according to the marketing materials and FAQ you should be able to download them as mp3 files.

Thanks for teaching me something. I do see in the FAQ where it talks about downloading. I don't ever remember that, but you obviously did that. Was it before the change in the PC appearance (happened a few weeks ago)? If so, then that is something they will need to fix (or refund your money I suppose). I recommend you put a message on the “New Release of Rocket Languages on Desktop” post on the Blog forum as the founder (Jason) is usually pretty responsive on that post. Best of luck!

Ok, that might be it. I started my trial on Oct 15 and during that an update came I suppose. This might be why the download button dissapeared.

Hello ArturJ,

unfortunately the download option seems to have been lost in both versions (mobile and desktop), at least for the moment. They have reinstated some functions that customers were complaining about that they were lost though.

I want to echo that being unable to download the audio lessons and the text transcript as standalone files to my computer, so I can learn in the way I want, is also my biggest pet peeve with this product.
