I've tried sending e-mails and have not yet been given a satisfactory answer. When will the App be upgraded so that it syncs with work completed on the web-based platform and vice versa?

Ever since the upgrade, none of my completed web-based course work appears in the app, even when I refresh or log out and back in. Work completed in the app no longer appears on the web-based platform, either.

I always appreciated the convenience of the app, but now I can't even keep track of completed work if I don't perform all my course work on the web-based platform.

Please tell me this is being worked on.

Hi Theresau - Sorry for the inconvenience. I believe the issue has been sorted but with iOS it takes a few days for Apple to approve any changes. If you are still experiencing problems at the end of the week please let me know.

It has been nearly 2 weeks since your response, and I still cannot sync my app and web based platform. I do not see any app update available, yet. You mentioned that it would take just a couple of days for Apple approval.

Can you provide some insight into when this issue might be resolved? I'm getting rather frustrated. I have not been able to sync my app ever since the upgrade in October. I'm sure that is not coincidental.

Please help!

Hi Theresau - Sorry for the delay. We are in the middle of revamping the app entirely. It sounds like the syncing works from the app to the desktop version but not the other way round at the moment. Is this what you are experiencing?

Thank you for the update, Jason. My app and desktop do not reciprocate in either direction. They function as 2 completely independent systems.

No work that is completed in the app appears on the desktop. And no work that is completed on the desktop appears in the app.

I appreciate the support, and am looking forward to getting this resolved.

Hi Theresau - Ok, this is odd. Customer support will be in touch to find out more about the devices you are using.

Part of this is because the interface between the app and desktop is part of the legacy system. Once we upgrade that to the 2016 Edition then these sorts of problems shouldn't happen.

The app update (timetabled for early next year) will include a lot of the features that are currently available on the desktop but not the app.

My app suddenly started syncing with the website. However, the website still does not sync with the app.

Thank you for the update on the time frame for the upgraded app development. I will look for the updated app after the new year.

I don't know.  I think they are working primarily on the website at this time as they have added a lot of features in the past six months.

It will be a welcome improvement as the ap is pretty basic right now. Hopefully it will be as full featured as this site is.

Hi all - Here's the update... As you are probably aware, with the 2016 Edition we upgraded a lot of the core functionality, however there is still a bit to go before it is all under the same system and we have no legacy code. 

In the meantime we are working on a total app upgrade, which will use the new system. We can't easily upgrade the current app, we need to redo the whole thing. So, to cut a long story short, we are still 2-3 months away from the new app being released.

Can we have an update on this? I'm must admit that I am quite frustrated that we are almost half way through 2016 and this still isn't completed.

I'm starting to regret my Rocket Spanish subscriptions. It's just not convenient for me to always use a desk top for my Spanish lessons. As a result, I have fit in hardly any practice the past few months. 

I don't feel I'm getting what I signed-up and paid for.

Hi Theresau - We are timetabled to have a Stage 1 release at the end of June. There have been a few issues with getting the voice recognition to work well in the different app environments. Please bear with us, it's not too far away! In the meantime, if you haven't already, you can download the Interactive Audio tracks and use them on any device.
