Hello,
again me with another sound/recording topic.
It seems that I am the person, who attracts all kind of bugs.
I hope no others are affected.
I just installed the app on my Iphone 4s with the newest IOS.
The content and my status is there, the app looks great.
But I cannot play a simple lesson, practise unit or "Hear It Say It"/"Know It".
For the same reason the recording can not be used.
Does the app work for other members?

works now....
seems some kind of autohealing power is integrated into Rocket Chinese :-P
would still be interesting to know other people problems with the mobile apps.

Hi Jan - Yes, it's automagic! We have tested it quite thoroughly but due to the large amount of content and functionality the odd thing has probably fallen through the cracks!

I have it and I noticed that the sound leaves whenever I get out of the app or whenever the screen automatically goes dark the audio turns off.
Other than that it works pretty well, still definitely has some room for improvement but I use it quite a bit. In fact, I got yelled at in my chinese class at school because I was on my phone, even though i was on the app studying!

I can confirm this behavior in the IPhone 4s with newest IOS.
It is a major bug for me, as i want To listen to the interactive course while driving.
Other apps linke audible are able to continue the the sound when stopping the app or when the energy saver turn off the display, but rocket chinese is currently not able to do this.

I just wanted to thank you for bringing this issue to our attention, and to also let you know that we have made a fix to the app that should prevent the problem from occurring again. We have submitted the updated app to Apple, and are waiting on their review process. We hope it will only take a few days, so keep an eye out!
