This is no big deal but since it is a repeatable problem, I thought I would mention it.

I go through the lessons doing only the "Know It!" section (all the other sections are green/completed). When I have gone through all the phrases for a given lesson (0 is displayed under "To Do"), the light bulb icon doesn't turn green. I leave the lesson, go back in, and there are anywhere from 2 to 4 questions under "To Do". I respond to those and then the icon turns green.

I had the same experience for both the Write It and the Know It.  In each case I had worked through all the questions and even repeated a few for good measure.   In each case the counters showed that I had completed all the questions; however, the light bulb stayed black.  In order for it to change colour to Green, I had to exit the program.  Upon reentering, the counter showed that I had to do one more question; I did that question and the light bulb changed colour.

This is annoying.  Hopefully, the problem can be resolved.

You know, I believe I had the same issue as Diana is describing. I didn't think too much about it at the time since it did give me credit, but on second thought it does seem rather glitchy.

For me the Play It section doesn't work at all. It won't record me, move on and I cannot rate myself.  I tried closing down and going back in but that has no effect.  Frustrating

Certainly not a show stopper but something for the technical team to clean up.

Play It works for me but only if I have a microphone, though it is hit or miss.  I wish there were a way to push forward in the event that the microphone (if we have one) does not understand us and will not let us advance.

I am using the inbuit mic which has only worked once so far .  This computer only has one input/output port which is not compatible with my older mic.  I am looking into options for purchasing a new modern mic with some sort of adapter so I can use both headphones and mic at the same time. Does anyone know of something that works well on the latest iMac

I bought a relatively cheap headset/mic at WalMart that works as well as anything for me. I am using a new MacBook Air.

Trish: it is a GE headset, but I no longer have the packaging with the model number. It was only $15 or so US.

I think that the Play It, even when you get correct translations, which for me is still glitchy, is difficult to use with VR.  The delay in translation breaks up the continuity or flow of the conversation.  I liked it (the Play It) better the way it was before the new release.

I am now sort of getting through it but the conversation doesn't flow well.
For each phrase I say I have to click a button to allow my voice to be recorded and then it takes time for that to happen before I can move on.
I liked the way it was before because I felt I was taking part in a conversation and I really had to know what to say or the programme left  me behind.

Hi Byron/Trish - I have added an item to the development wish-list to look into having a toggle on Play it! that turns the voice recognition on/off.

Hi Steven - That's interesting. I cannot replicate the issue, it seems to work fine for me. Is it a particular lesson, or all lessons?

Hi Jason - Lesson 19.3 is where I saw it happen yesterday. It didn't happen with the corresponding grammar lesson nor did it happen today with Lesson 19.4. This is a really trivial glitch and I only bring it up as it had been fixed and then reappeared. I would treat it as resolved. Thanks.

I've had this happen to me before on a few lessons, but I know the cause in my case: my internet went down part way through, and then came back up before I finished the lesson, and the ones I did without connection didn't get counted as completed.  Of course I can't say if that's the same problem you're having, but it's something to check, at least.

Good thought, but no, it was a repeatable problem prior: I would consistently have to leave the lesson and come back to it to finish off the 2 or 3 questions that would reappear. [That said, for yesterday's glitch it could be that my internet connection cut out - one off glitches I don't pay much attention to.]

Hi Steven/Samuel - After talking to the IT guys they seem to think that it is probably an internet glitch. However, it may also be to do with the way that the 2016 Edition interacts with some of the legacy code in the points system. The points and badges system is on the list to be switched to the new system in the coming months.

Silver lining -

Mine had been working fine for at least a few weeks. My problem was the reverse of what was described: everything turned green and completed. Like Diana-S1 I always do a few more for good measure for my own benefits. Mine had always happened the next day when I power on my computer and that's when it showed that I had not completed either Write it and or Know it, usu 2-4 questions. I attributed my problem to fatigue since I do most of my lesson/testing late at night.
