Quiz changes in 2021 edition

Hello,

Today I changed to 2021 edition in Rocket Japanese and saw that the quiz is not showing what the wrong answers means anymore.

This was a good source for training and learning for me, as I would try to find out what all the alternatives were saying before selecting the correct one, now I just don't know if I understood all the options or not, all I get is if my selected option is the correct one or not.

Is this some kind of bug or was it intended to be this way? If that is the case, what is the reasoning behind that?

Hi Gustavo - Are there particular lessons that do this or all of them?

I just saw the new changes and I love them!  You listened when I asked for a bigger notes section.  I was very pleased to see the Sort It Kanji and Kana sections.  That will really help me, especially for the Kanji. Fantastic job!  Thank you, Rocket.

I experienced this on lesson 3.10 at first, but i checked other lessons and the problem continues in all of them.

Hi Gustavo - We will look into this! Also, the current Rocket Japanese Level 1 Language & Culture lessons will be replaced with new and improved ones within the next 2-3 weeks.

When I tested out the Japanese quizzes, it did show what the wrong meanings meant.  So mine is OK.

I am eager to see what the new Language and Culture lessons look like.  These changes are exciting!

Unfortunately for me the quiz still is not working as it was before, the wrong answers do not show what they mean in the new lessons that I am taking (currently on 4.1 of 1 level).

Hi Olivier - You should be able to print the page and select “Save as PDF” as the printer option. The exact instructions may differ depending on your browser.

There are at least 3 bugs in the 2021 saved vocab — 

(1) Certain vocabulary words keep magically re-appearing and repeating over and over in the list, when you try to go through everything in order.  You can't go through all of the vocab now without these crazy repeats.

(2) It is impossible to format the vocab notes now, you can not add a line break or anything else – vocab notes have been turned into one long line of confusing text.

(3) You can not see your points as you go and keep track of how many you are doing in a vocab session.  Now, you have to stop everything you are doing, leave the page, and check the score.

I love Rocket Italian, but from a quality standpoint, this new update is disappointing, especially the saved vocab feature, which has basically had its customization feature ruined by this update.  I hope these bugs get fixed, I love this program.
