Total Points not showing after upgrade

I've reported this issue several times but, as yet, it's not been fixed. Basically daily points totals don't get reliably added to the cumulative ‘all time’ totals. Sometimes, therefore, several hundred points just go missing. It's irritating - and I was never aware of this problem in the 2020 edition. 

I had responses to the first two or three comments I made but nothing in the last ten days or so. 

Obviously it's not that big an issue but it just makes the site feel messy and unreliable. 

Hi Chris - If I am reading you right, this is how it is supposed to work. The daily points total is based on your time zone, whereas the Leaderboard is based on the last 24 hours. It needs to be this way as people are in different time zones, so we need to use the “last 24 hours” as the best way to make a comparison between users.

Please let me know if that isn't what you are referring to!

 I get the point about time zones. Here's a recent example of what I'm referring to: 26th November (UK) I recorded 929 points...my all time total was 226,624, so together 227,553. Today 3rd December, my all time totall stands at 227,482. I've not added that much in the intervening days but it should be in excess of 227,553 - yes?

Since the switch to the 2021 edition I've reported these mismatches on a number of occasions and been acknowledged - but there's been no follow up or explanation. 

I'm not especially points driven - I'm just working my way through the course fairly slowly. But I do think something's going wrong with the transfer of daily totals to the cumulative figure.
