My wife and I both are planning to learn as much French as we can before we travel around Languedoc-Roussillon in late May 2011. We are not likely to complete the lessons at exactly the same pace. How can we keep separate track of our progress through Rocket French? I suppose one of us can simply keep a paper track? It would be nice to both be able to use the built-in tracker.

I believe that rocket languages does a family discount if that is something you are interested in. You would probably have to contact them for more information.

I found this under "Help". This is an answer to a question about family discounts. If you have family members that want to join the Rocket Languages experience, we offer great family discounts. Find out more here: https://www.rocketlanguages.com/family-payment/

I actually use their family discount and it works pretty well. I pay the regular price and my husband and my nieta pay the discounted price. It's a good deal. You would want your own account because of the nature of the lessons.

Yes, it would be more difficult for 2 people to use the lessons at the same time. Although, having said that, since I write everything in notebooks as I am studying, I could probably work it into my system. But oh, what an advantage it would be to have someone else in the same household studying the same program! I think that I would use that to advantage by having both partners study the same lesson and use the lesson material, vocab and grammar as subjects to practice speaking and listening.

That would be grand if we are all studying at the same pace but we are not. I probably forced the issue and signed them up.

Yes. Maha started this again and I think it is good to revisit issues in case someone might be interested.
