Update Requested

Can someone provide us with an update on the progress toward resolution of the issues with the Flash Player that arose on July 8? Judging from the comments that have been posted in the forum, this is a serious inconvenience to many users. I also suspect that the workaround of regressing to an earlier version of flash is difficult or impossible for many of us.

I had hoped that the resolution of the problem would be the highest priority and that it would have been resolved over the weekend. Since it was not, I would like to know what is being done to resolve the problem and when the system is expected to work normally again.

 

This morning everything worked perfectly. Even in the more distant past, there was always a certain percentage of playbacks where the audio didn't play. Only once did the audio not play immediately in the "Know It!" section and even there I hit the play button and it worked. Thank you, Rocket Spanish.

Not quite right yet for me, I'm afraid. Playbacks are working, but the points counter is not.

I am having the same experience as Marci: playback working fine but no points. Progress to be sure, but more work is needed. Just for fun I tried Safari instead of my usual Firefox with the same results.

I would still like an update as to when the system will be running normally again.

The points don't work at all on the writing tests. I know it sounds silly but it really saps my drive to learn when I feel I'm not being marked correctly :)

Ditto for me - playback works but I only accumulate points on "Know It" and "Play It" under Chrome and IE Explorer.

At least progress has been made.  The audio recordings play correctly; unfortunately, the points counter doesn't yet work.  Hopefully that comes soon.

The point counter seems to be working again, when you listen and respond to a phrase in the lesson, and in the testing module.
