allow adobe flash player on mac

I have allowed the flash player in preferences both for Safari and in the flash player website preferences but each time I go to record it still asks permission. Do you have an idea what else I can do to get around this. I have Mavericks OS thanks

After you hit the red record button for the pop-up, instead of just clicking "Allow", hold [control] and then "Allow". This brings up another pop-up. Select settings and click the radio buttons for "Allow" (round) and "Remember" (square) (below the "Allow" button). Then you can close and it will save these settings.
