I'm using the Android app, but I can't make it play on my bluetooth speaker. I like to listen while I'm driving, but my cellphone speaker does not always have a good volume, depending on how fast I'm going.

Anyway, is there a way to send audio to bluetooth? I know I can download mp3 and use another player, but it's a lot more work.

Do you have any other applications on Android that play audio?

Or is it only the Rocket Languages program that doesn't work for you?

I don't have an Android device to help you with that problem. On the iPhone when i connect with Bluetooth I can sometimes control the sound output and cometimes I cannot. Often depends on the application developer.

For Rocket Languages audio lessons, I use a typical MP3 player (AVPlayer) to play the MP3s. It gives me more control than the player provided by Rocket Languages because I can use swipe gestures to go forward and back 5/10 seconds and speed up or slow down the play depending on if I want to review or learn.

I'd suggest downloading the MP3 files and ignore the app unless you want to use it for the activities and playback of your voice.

I agree with Jason's advice. Like him, I download each lesson onto my iPhone when I begin studying one. Then I can listen to a lesson when driving or doing any other activity away from home and/or my computer. On the few occasions that I have tried to use the RL ap over WiFi or the cellphone network I have been dissatisfied with the speed and responsiveness.

First, to troubleshoot, you must verify that your phone is connected to your car system as an audio device as well as phone. Easy way to check is whether you can play music from your phone through your car speakers.

I have a Galaxy S5, and it is paired with my car both as phone and audio device. Usually when you set up the initial pairing it does this automatically. You also need to be aware if you have more than one phone paired up with the radio. It will not automatically switch over and play. You have to switch manually, and often that may mean going out of the audio part of your radio into the Settings area.
