I'm looking for a few resources in addition to the courses to increase my Spanish vocabulary. First would be a CD or audio recording something along the lines of saying the Spanish word, giving a few seconds for you to say it and then giving the English version. I am looking for this during time in the car. Just words and pronunciation repetition. I found it harder to focus on the lessons while driving and not end up in a ditch.
Second would be a word vocabulary list with pronunciations. Just another means to pound useful vocabulary into my head in addition to the lessons. I found a pretty good website below with mostly useful words but it ended at words starting with 'e.'

Any body have some good ideas? Thanks.

Pimsleur is very good but it has lessons so I don't know if that's what you're looking for. I've heard that Behind the Wheel Arabic is like a talking dictionary so maybe Behind the Wheel Spanish is the same way.

I add to my vocabulary by using a Spanish dictionary and taking down words and phrases from each lesson. If you go over them everyday you tend to remember them better. I also use a verb book to help me in my verb conjugations. Buenas suerte amigos.

Scott W1 I'd suggest focusing on the road while your driving! If you must Rocket has it all.. Beginners audio book, an interactive audio course and bonus tracks, 20 cd's per set with a total of 3 sets (Rocket Spanish Premium, Rocket Spanish Premium Plus and Rocket Spanish Platinum) it also works with Mp3 players, and allows you to print out the materials as you go, if you decide to study at home. Pimsleur is awful, don't waist your money on it.
