If try to repeat the text conversation transcript by pressing the play button for the same text again the next ''click" will not function and you have to "click" again.

Is one click possible ?

When I click the the same button to stop and restart a conversation transcript I am finding that the points counter is giving me 2 points for each click for a total of 6 to 8 points . The older version only gave 2 points per conversation.

Ian: I am able to repeat a phrase with a single click. I am on OS X and Google Chrome. Firefox performs the same way.

Alan, I am getting duplicate points when I pause and restart a conversation mid-sentence also.

Yes - Thanks
I have tried in Chrome an repeats are working with one click
It seems to be a problem when using Internet Explorer

Dan, I know what you mean! It's like, "You get 2 points, you want to pause? Now you have 10 points, now EVERYBODY has 600 points!!!" every time you start-stop anything. Which I don't mind, but I haven't necessarily earned anything! I've managed to resist the temptation to just sit there and click the stop/start button until I'm at the top of the leaderboard (someone has probably already had that idea! Laughs!).

Hi everyone,

Our apologies for the confusion over the points. The IT team are still working on the point inaccuracies however they have rolled out a fix over the weekend meaning any points you earn from now should be accurate. The extra points earned before this fix should be corrected in a couple of days.

As for the points earned by clicking on a Rocket Record audio, it's true that you get 2 points every time you click on play - it was like that on the old system too. I hope that helps!

The old system re-started from the beginning of the phrase and not from where you clicked to stop it like this does.
Maybe the points could be added after the end of the phrase is reached.

Maybe it should only do one lot of points per phrase. I sometimes have to listen to phrases several times to understand them properly but that racks up points for no real effort.

Fred, I'm not sure I agree with you. I often have to listen to more complex sentences several times to understand them also, but I think it does take real effort to comprehend them. Clicking several times for "Hola" is just gaming the system, but harder sentences probably deserve more points.

Hi Dan
As always people are at lots of different stages and using Rocket languages differently anyway. I would hope that for most people it is learning a language rather than getting points and badges that really matters. There is absolutely no point in being Guru Master of the Universe and Chief Jedi of German if you can't actually speak German well enough to buy a bus ticket in Bonn or Vienna or wherever.

Well said, Fred. As for me, my goal is to order a beer in a Mexican cantina without getting slapped by the waitress or shot by Danny Trejo. Actually the getting slapped part is optional. The getting shot part not so much.

Well, assuming that the shot isn't fatal, the essential part is actually getting the cerveza...
