error with my custom flashcard collection

Hi!I am currently trying to create a custom flashcard collection of over 100 flashcards but,every time I try to save it on the screen there appears a message saying : Error collection not saved. Why is this happening?And why can't I save my collection?

I believe 100 flash cards is the maximum allowed in a set.
If you want more you could try Quizlet.com a nice simple system which include the ability to mark cards that you find hard.
Also ankiweb.net which is more powerful but also much more complex.

If you import more than a hundred it will divide them up into lots of 100 for you.

I have tried it again but it did not divide them up instead I got the same message as before.

I tried to load more than 100 flashcards form a CSV file a few weeks ago and I got an error too. I don't think this auto divide thing works, at least it didn't for me.

I found a post from someone who claimed to have a set of over 500 cards, but they were imported from my vocab, I wonder if that is important.

I exported about 2000 My Vocab words, sorted them and then reloaded and it divided it into 20 lots of 100. It's a bit tricky to do but it worked just fine.

Just to be clear, I take it you exported to CSV from My vocab rather than importing direct to flashcards via create custom set?
Did you divide your 2000 my Vocab words into 20 sets before importing or did you import all 2000 in one go into flash cards. If you did, did you select 100 cards at a time after the initial import but before actually creating the cards?

I have also gone directly from My vocab to flashcards but what I'm describing is the latter. I imported the 2000 in one go (or maybe two lots of 1000 I think). After that, I pressed the button to select all and create, and it created 10 (or 20) sets numbered 1-10.

also,
I have been trying to import " tenia '' into my vocab,
the problem is that it has two meanings ( he/she/it/ has and I have ) when I double click on it
it only gives me one of the definition and if I try to download it again for the other definition
a message appears on the screen saying :
Error you have already downloaded this word into your vocab! and it won't let me download it !
Why is this happening?!!!

oh! I just wanted to add that the collection I tried to make was imported from My Vocab!

They made a recent change such that you can no longer add duplicates.

Yes, you can no longer add the same word more than once into My Vocab.

What I'm wondering is why do some words not have all their definitions?
And why can't I import the same word twice but with a different definition?
