In which order do you do the exercises?

Hey everybody,

this is simply a question out of curiosity.

In which order do you do the exercises?

I found out, that it works best for me, if I do them in a slightly different order.
I do the Flashcards 3rd, before the speaking exercise.
1. listening

2. writing

3. flashcards

4. speaking

5. quiz

Kind regards Armin

I do the exercises in order. No reason other than they are presented that way. What do I find most useful? Listening and Speaking, followed by writing. The flashcards here are not good and the quiz is borderline silly (unlike the benchmarks).

I have a problem sometimes with the speaking exercise,  cause the translation approach doesn't always make sense to me.

I'd sometimes prefer contextual information instead of literal translations to practice in which situation to use which word or phrasing.

i do them in order as presented also.  It works for me.  I understand the comment re the speaking exercise, in that the literal translations don't give the necessary clues initially.  I'm fine with that, as it all part of the mental exercise, I reckon.

I do flashcards, listening, writing, flashcards, speaking, quiz. I am usually terrible on the first attempt at the flashcards . Then after doing the listening and writing, the flashcards are easier. As others have said, I find the listening and writing the most useful. I think of the speaking as the real quiz. The quiz is just a bit of fun.
