Does anyone have a suggestion for the best mp3 player to use for language learning?
I think a <pause><reverse> is needed. Suggestions?
I have Windows XP Professional SP3
mp3 player

I got a 35-40 dollar one at Walmart that I use for my Japanese. Its a Phillips GoGear Vibe with 4GB. It has a screen that shows the album art and has a pause, and reverse. I like it a lot. Works really well for me.

I have been using a Sandisk Sansa Clip for about three years and it has served me well. The latest ones can be expanded with a micro SD card. Have a look on Amazon.

You can always get an iPod. You can find the 4th and 5th gen iPod nano on ebay quite cheaply.
Also, lots of phones have mp3 capabilities.

Hmm...I always heard iPods break easily though? I'm not sure.

Well, I've just downloaded a lesson onto my PC without a problem. What is happening when you try?

You can usually play them on most cellphones, also the Sansa recommended above works great and they don't cost much.
