New And need help:/

So Hey, I really want to learn Japanese because it is just a fun language and I want to visit japan when I'm older, but I don't like listening back to my voice. Everything I say sounds right it's just.. Whats the word.. Embarrassing. That's the closest word I can think of, can anyone help?

Becuase your ears connect to your throat via eustachian tubes, what you hear your voice as will always sound different to what other people hear your voice as. We hardly ever hear our voice being played back though, so it can come as a shock how different we sound to other people. I see what you mean though. Maybe a good step would be to try and find someone you can have a basic conversation with on skype or something? That way, you can get instant feedback and boost your confidence. It's just practice, and always remember you're still learning and don't be dissuaded or intimidated by native/fluent speakers. Good luck!
