As all of us know, learning a new language is vastly more effective when you can use what you've learned in a real situation. I have no Italians nearby to work with and was wondering if anyone knows of a way to locate Italians IN Italy to converse with via Skype ( perhaps an Italian that wants to improve their English). I use Skype to converse with a friend in Bosnia and it is excellant ... and FREE

In addition to several other sites I use www.francaisfacile.com and www.livemocha.com; On these sites you will find those who speak french, italian, spanish, english etc. You can practice your language on these sites for free and then invite other members to meet you on Skype. These sites also have Facebook links where there members post special requests. Let me know what happens, I may have a few more suggestions. Bon Courage, Stella

You could try the SharedTalk WebSite. Initially you have written contact and when confident you can then share your details i.e: email and Skype address. I have had several people I contact to practice, it works well for me. Bonne chance Sandie
