solution to rocket record not recording

Most of the time rocket record misses the beginning of your phrase. wait until the wavy blue blue lines appear to start talking. 

It depends what language and how you are using the record button. With Japanese there are some conjunctions that are not recognised at all. I can say it 10 times on a PC and get a nill score and then use my iPhone and get 100%. It is an ongoing issue that appears to be getting fixed upon reporting.

I've found the same to be true, both in terms of missing the first word(s) and never recognizing some words. In Spanish, both "Ah" and "cual" seem to be the worst words for recognition (at least via PC) -- after as many tries as I've made, I'm quite sure I'm pronouncing it reasonable well.
