Rocket Team does a great job of avoiding "grammar" by teaching via comparison, function and example in the "culture and language" module! In C & L 1.6-7, I'd like to know how you choose the suffix (ending - ke 게 or - h 히) in adverbs like beautifully or silently ?? Thanks! Tessa

~게 is one of endings that makes adverb like -ly. ex) 아름답게 (beautifully) 명확하게 (clearly) 부드럽게 ( softly) and so forth. ~ 운 is for adjective. it usually comes before nouns. ex) 귀여운 소녀(a cute girl), 못생긴 강아지 (an ugly dog) , 부드러운 이불 (a soft blanket) There is a cute girl '귀여운' 여자아이가 있다. She smiled cutely 그녀가 '귀엽게' 웃었다. resource. http://learnkorean.ning.com/forum/topics/what-is-the-difference-between here is a second resource: http://www.howtostudykorean.com/unit1/unit-1-lessons-1-8/unit-1-lesson-8/ i did not right this just copied and pasted lol. found this to be most helpful. she explains it better than i would. hope this helped.
