in lesson one i noticed on practice one of the phrases says 오늘 첫수업은인사입니다, my question is why is it 첫 수업은 instead of 첫번재의 수업은 ?
why did they cut out 번재의?

Both are fine to use - it would be like the difference between "lesson number one" and "the first lesson". Hope that helps!
