Suena como divertido! Galicia is a very beautiful place, although unfortunately I've never been there. Lots of pretty coastline:).
One of my friends went to Spain a few years back. He didn't go to learn Spanish though...mostly he likes Spanish women and thought it would be interesting I think (jaja). We don't talk much anymore, but I'll ask him whether or not he's seen Galicia next time I see him.
