Kind of PC stupid, When I download the audio since it is in MP3 format and burn them to a CD, I need to have an MP3 player? I don't guess I can just pop it into the car CD player and it work? Thanks

Oh pooh!! You're not stupid David... oh please... Once you download the mp3 files to your computer, you can then burn those files to a CD and pop it in any CD player... car, boombox, DiscMan, etc... I backed mine up on CD's as well as put it on my iPod in case there were times that my iPod was about to die, or whatever. I don't have a docking station for mine, so sometimes I like to just pop a CD into the boombox so I can listen without having headphones on or earbuds in. It works just fine!!

[quo]*Quote:* just sit's on track 1[/quo] Hi Different brand names and models of CD players may behave different. Very difficult to say, but you may try to burn them again at the lowest speed you can. ( this we have to do regulary in Linux in order to have a satisfying result ) Other thing you could try is to use your burner program ( Nero, ...other ) and burn it as a music CD , instead of just drag and drop the mp3s to CD. If this fails, try another burning program,,,there are many good quality freeware CD burning programs on the net. Other than that.......I have to scratch my head a lot. Let us know if this was useful ( or not ! ) Antonio

[/quo] I was trying to remember what I did when I had a similar problem with files from a different Spanish program a couple of years ago, and Antonio's answer reminded me. I originally had simply dragged and dropped the mp3 files onto the CD. The resulting CD played fine on my computer, but when I tried to play it in the car or in a portable CD player, I got nothing. I tried again to burn a CD, this time choosing to create the CD as a music CD, and that did the trick.

You know, that's what I did too, now that I think of it. I used Nero, and I created them as a music CD, so they worked just fine.
