Downloaded everything and un-Stuffed the OS X version of the games. When I attempt to launch the software by double clicking Rocket Spanish.osx, I get an Applescript error about "unable to read the dictionary of this application because it is not scriptable".
I'm on the latest version OS X with all patches. Ideas?

Have you tried re-downloading? I had no issues.

Yes, twice. Jeanne, if you look at the Get Info pane on the Rocket Spanish.osx file, what application does yours say it is set to open with? Applescript Editor?

OK - got it working. I noticed the copyright in the Info pane referencing Macromedia Director (Shockwave authoring tool) and figured this thing might be a standalone Shockwave application. I renamed the file with a ".app" extension and it works. Not sure how it is working for others with the original extension, since OS X thinks it's a data file instead of an executable app.

My extension is .osx, which I'd never seen before, but Mac recognizes it as a powerpc app.

I'm having issues to with the app. It refuses to start up in OS 10.3.9. I was able to get it to open on my macbook (running 10.4), but I receive a script error and the app behaves as if nothing happens when I click on a check box. This is rather irritating because the games were a big saling point for me. I'm tempted to ask for a refund since I can't utilize the full package...
Anyway, if anyone knows, what are the system requirements for the games. I would really like to use them
Thanks!

Hi,
If you are having problems with the games you should contact support@rocketlanguages.com, they should be able to work through them with you.
All the best.
Mauricio.
