I was just wondering how everyone else approaches new lessons. I just started lesson 1.11 - should I work on memorizing all of the sentences on the flashcards, or focus on being able to select the correct pronoun and not worry about the whole sentence? Thanks so much!

Hi DeniseH22,
You will find that users take the lessons in different ways, some feel more comfortable taking the audio lessons, some others take the Language&Culture lessons first, and some others take one audio and one L&C lesson at a time; the same happens with the content; I'd say you can move on once you feel comfortable with the knowledge of the lesson; it'd be up to you to determine what it is you'd like to focus on, remember you can always go back to the lesson in case you'd like to review it and focus on something else.
Kind Regards.

I'll tell you what I did. You may or may not want to do it.
I did each lesson in order down the line. Level 1 was sort of a review for me, so it went pretty quickly. Then I spent 6 weeks going over all the flash cards in all of level 1, over and over until I could do all of them more or less perfectly. I did the same thing for level 2, though that took several months.
Personally, I'm so glad that I did that. In my opinion, you need to master the material before you move on to the next section. Yeah, you don't want to spend a month on module 1, but going through the entire level after I learned it all reinforces it and gave me much more certainty with it.
