Benchmark change?

Did the benchmark change? In the past it seemed to focus on what I had reviewed thus far. But today it was asking multiple questions (didn't take long to get three strikes, so not that long) in Module 14 when I am not even halfway through Module 9.

It did ask some very Level 1 questions as well, but I had at least 3 or 4 from Module 14, which seemed odd to me.

¡Hola Scott_C!

Thanks for your question!

The Benchmark test pulls questions from the entire the level to allow you to check your progress as you go. So when you're at the start of a level, the Benchmark test may indeed include a lot of Spanish that you don't yet know! This indicates that you're taking the right course for your level of Spanish. As you progress through the level and learn more Spanish, you should start to be able to answer more and more of the questions.

If you're looking for a means of testing yourself on things that you've definitely already covered, you might want to try the Rocket Certification tests. These are module-by-module tests, so you can pick exactly which module's content you'll be reviewing.

I hope that's helpful! Let me know if you still have any questions!

Saludos,

Liss

Thanks Liss - that makes sense. I guess I just got lucky the first couple times or unluckly the last time with what questions were randomly pulled. Appreciate the answer and no further questions.

Thanks!
