Has anybody completed the entire Rocket Spanish course? What level were you at after finishing the course?

Hello,

(I posted a similar post in the general forum but wanted to ask specifically about Spanish here as this is the course own)

I don't know if I've ever seen feedback or comments from somebody who has actually completed all the levels of a Rocket Language course. As somebody who is looking to jump back into language learning (specifically Spanish), I'm curious how far Rocket Spanish will take you.

Is there anybody here who has completed a Rocket Spanish course? If so, what level were you at with Spanish (ie. an estimate of your CEFR level…A1, A2, B1, etc…)? How was your reading, writing, and listening (I assume speaking would be poor if you haven't practiced outside of the course). Were you able to consume any native materials (newspaper, books, TV shows, movies, podcasts, radio)?

Thanks all!

If it helps, I recently changed over to (re)learning Spanish, having worked through all but three lessons of Rocket Italian 1-3.  I consciously took over four years, and also did a bit of Memrise, Language Transfer, videos, etc.

After 2.5 - 3 years, I was able to converse with exchange partners via Skype.  Effective (not perfect) communication is my goal with languages, so job done.

Based on my lessons with Rocket Spanish so far, I feel certain that I will be able to converse in Spanish even quicker, given what I've learned about online language learning in recent years and some basic grounding in Spanish from previous, old school resources years ago.

Good luck and most importantly, have fun with it!

Chris

I felt like at the end of Level 1 I was a solid A1 and borderline A2. I could communicate in Spanish but if any Spanish speaker spoke English, they would immediately to English as my word searching, bad grammar, etc was painful for them. I am mid Level 2 and still think I am A2 (but now I know past tense and more when I hear it or read it, speak it is possible but tough).
