Hola! I've been working through Level 2, doing all the lessons in numerical order, and it all seemed sensible until I got to Module 13. The Language and Culture lessons (13.5-13.8) are all about conjugating the subjunctive, and then the following audio lessons (14.1-14.4) introduce the future tense. I just got to the 14.5 Language and Culture lesson, and it's back to the subjunctive again – it looks like the future will be covered in 14.7. Jumping between tenses like this is confusing, and the audio and L&C lessons aren't reinforcing each other. Should I be doing these in a different order?

Hi Dawn E26
Wow you are moving fast. I have not got beyond much of level one. I find the grammar and cultural lessons, not great at best. I use a lot of other resources additionally, otherwise I just land up with a huge confusing mess. I do Italian and German on Rocket and find the same thing.
As I have said before, no program is perfect

How funny, I like the Languarge and Culture lessons as my preferred lessons. I find the audio lessons OK initially but tough to review (and in fact, not all of the “quiz” material is in the Lesson Vocabulary which is frustrating). I like the L&C becuase it just explains things. Now there are many things I go look up because Rocket does rely on straight memorization for many things (and eventually you learn about them later), but you can't teach everything all at once, so tough position for them to be in. Like you, I use several resources to learn and I am still finding the Level 2 lessons to be a tough jump in difficulty.

Hi DawnE26,
As you've noticed, the Language & Culture lessons and the Audio lessons do indeed not always align. This is because they are designed to use two different approaches to teaching, both in order to provide variety and in order to better suit different learning styles. Since the Language & Culture lessons (which are more thorough by nature) have to cover more ground than the Audio lessons, the two approaches can't always continue at the same pace. However, we encourage you to move through the lessons in whatever order feels most helpful and most understandable to you, so you can absolutely mix and match the lessons as you see fit.
