quedar/quedarse

How do you use quedar/quedarse ? Do you use quedar like the verb gustar with the indirect pronomen? For example: is this sentence correct? Me quedan solamente dos semanas para volver a Noruega? Why not "Me quedo solamente......

You are using quedan, and assuming you're using the reflexive verb quedarse, which would mean *they* stay/remain, so the correct pronoun would be 'se'. If you were saying "I remain/stay only two weeks..." I think you would use 'me quedo', but I'm not sure what tense you are wanting to use, e.g., I have only two weeks or I had only two weeks or they had or they have. If you are not using the reflexive quedarse, you could say 'quedan solamente dos semanas hasta volver a Noruega' which roughly translates to 'their remains only two weeks until returning to Norway'. There is no reflexive pronoun in this case because the object of the verb is not a person. HTH, Jack
