Hola,
I am very new to learning spanish and only have been studying it for a few weeks. My resources are not only Rocket Spanish but also Learning Spanish like Crazy. The two seem to compliment each other in that LSLC immediately has you start conjugating verbs.
This is just history and has nothing to do with my question!
In pronouncing the letter "d" as in tardes or as in de dónde eres it sounds like Mauricio is pronouncing it "th". Am I hearing this incorrectly? In LSLC it sounds more like the english "d". I want to be able to speak Latin American spanish and my husband and son (who are American) keep telling me that in Mexico it's pronounced like the english "d".
Can someone clear this up for me?
Thanks
Cindi L.

Hello Cindi,
The "D" is pronounced just like the english one, I think you might be simply hearing a little bit of my mixed accent coming through the recordings... my apologies.
I hope you are enjoying the course.
Kind regards,
Mauricio.
