Would "Soy un analisto de negocio," be correct?
I typed "analyst," into Google Translate and it returned "analista." It doesn't seem to like "analisto," when I go from Spanish to English, though.
Como se dice "Business Analyst"?

Analyst is "el analista", a masculine noun that just happens to end in "a".
(much like "el dia", "el clima" and others)
"Soy un analista de negocios" would be correct.

I am pretty sure that when describing a profession the indefinite article (un or una) is not used.
Soy analista de negocios.
If, however it is modified with an adjective the indefine article is included.
Jose es un analista brillante. Jose is a brilliant analist.

Thank you Oscar. You made my day. I'm smiling and feeling good that I can contribute accurately. I read with interest these forums. Not only do they challenge me and have me reviewing my Spanish language material, I consistently learn many other things. I really enjoy Rocket Spanish.

Thanks for the input, everyone! Just bought the Premium level. I studied Spanish in high school and am really enjoying getting back into the language.
