SLANG "FOME"

I was recently chatting with someone from Chile and he used the word "fome" which I could not find in my dictionary. In context it seemed to mean "boring". Is this correct? Tony

Mauricio's away for the weekend, so he can't answer your question personally, but this is the information I came up with: fome Implied meaning: dumb, boring, refers to something that you don't like (tonto, aburrido, algo que no te gusta) Example: Esta clase es fome. This information comes from Pepe's Chile, __http://www.joeskitchen.com/chile/culture/slang.htm__ You can also find a great explanation of the idiosyncracies of Chilean Spanish at the online dictionary Wikipedia: __http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chilean_Spanish__
