Vocabulary

How many of the 300 words should I know before I move on? I got about 2/3 of them right the first time through. What is recommended for learning the rest of them? Drilling with the flash cards?

I would recommend using Anki or some other SRS flashcard system, in the manner suggested by Gabriel Wyner in his book Fluent Forever. His process avoids translating from your target language into your native language as much as possible, and facilitates learning more than just the meaning of a single word with each card. I wish I would have known of these tools when I first began learning Spanish; I would be closer to my goal than I am now.
