very impressive course, but it depends on you to complete all of the exercises.
Excellent language program for the serious individuals. Well recommended
Good stuff, really fun and interactive. A tri-lingual friend ( an ESL professor) recommended it to me - happy I bought in ! i
I really appreciate how comprehensive the course is.
It is important for me to listen and to speak french which is one strength of rocket languages as I heard, why I bought the course, and which I can confirm.
The cultural information is also a great plus of this program, since one doesn't only learn about french culture, but also about differences in culture - about how small talk is different from the USA or in which situation to use which way to form a question.
So there is a lot of detailed information that goes beyond the pure language.
I love this learning method, it suits my needs very well. I would recommend to other learners as well.
The fact that you can practice all 4 skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking is wonderful. I love it.

Hi Karim, thank you for leaving a review. It's great to hear that you are enjoying our Rocket French free trial. We wish you all the best with your French language-learning journey!
If you are looking to learn a language. I recommend giving rocket languages a try.
Pros:
Audio focused
forces you to listen to every new term/phrase
forces you to speak new terms/phrases and lets you hear back your voice back to compare
Also grades your speech on chrome automatically
lets you rate yourself and then you go back and review what you thought was okay or hard
I got it for ~$180 and get permanent access for about 230 hours of content
Cons:
No clear function for long term spaced repetition
Not enough spontaneity like writings essays or responding words organized in a new way(thats not already pre-planned)
You only cover everything in the ~20 minute audio lesson
No visual references if you care about that
You might lose your voice
Not gamified but I'm having fun
I think you need to use Anki, but its does everything better than doulingo or memrise when it comes to listening and speaking. While also providing a clear path compared to just venturing on yourself. Doulingo is better for grammar and conjugations, but you are at a much faster pace, its less repetitive, and you just can't tune out. Its not good for children or trying to get some else to learn. Ie. you need to participate and have a desire to learn.
Response from Rocket Languages
Hi Brooke, thank you for your extensive feedback. It's great to hear that you recommend Rocket Languages and that our audio features are supporting your learning. Regarding spaced repetition, we actually already apply this learning strategy to our reinforcement activities, including "Flashcards," "Hear it! Say it!," etc. Additionally, when you purchase a course, you get lifetime access to it and can repeat the lessons as many times as you feel is necessary. We greatly appreciate your feedback and have passed your suggestions on to our Product Development team. We wish you all the best with your French language-learning journey!
I enjoy the course work and information so far. The voice voice recognition sucks. Had a French speaking friend speak as a test and she had the same experience. If this program tells a woman from Montreal that she's wrong or can't register her speech, then it just frustrates the learner and makes for a bad design.
Response from Rocket Languages
Hi Eric, thank you for your feedback, we're sorry to hear that the voice recognition feature is not working for you. Our friendly customer support team has emailed you in order to get a better understanding of the technical issues you are experiencing and resolve the issue. All the best!
