It's been a while since I started learning a new language and rocket languages offered me an excellent learning tool at the comfort of my own home and at my own pace . The new improvements motivated me and I really want to use this method for learning more than one lanquage. One of the best methods for self learning.
I am living in Fujairah and because of some problems I had to take French..Since I din't knew the language I thought it will be very difficult...But after taking Rocket french it was so easy...After Claire and Paul do the rewiev its very easy..In each exam of French I get full marks ...........I love French....:)
Rocket French's format, utilizing audio and written presentations and including opportunities to test one's progress have made learning French fun and achievable. We visited France when I had be using Rocket for about 3 months, and I wasn't fluent but I was able to speak some and understand a lot! My highest achievement was to ask for and understand directions (in French) to the ladies' toilet at the art museum in Lille! One suggestion: add a jump forward/back 15 seconds function on the audio tracks to allow a skipping or reviewing more easily. Merci, merci, merci, Claire and Paul!
Rocket Languages was a pleasant surprise. It is engaging, comprehensive and a wonderful way to learn French. I studied French over 40 years ago and lost my fluency from not using it. This is a fun way to pick it up again and I discovered that I remembered more than I had thought. This program makes learning fun. I bought one for my sister in Spanish.
I am very excited to start learning French with Rocket languages. Learning languages has always been a challenge for me but I can see that this will be easier and fun. I love that they use different methods to learn.
Absolutely, by far, hands down, one of the best programs I've ever used to learn French. I use many methods, taking classes, listening to French radio, watching French tv shows and movies with French and/or English subtitles but nothing I've done compares to this. Personally, I don't like paying for things on the internet if I can get it free somewhere but this has been worth every penny. Quality. You get what you pay for.
Salut!
My first impressions:
1. I find very useful to have access to my "learning field" from anywhere, because I'm always on the run. It is my first experience (and 4-th language) of learning online.
2. I'm very impressed with Vocabulary feature. Using it a lot.
What I miss so far:
3. Some sort of verb conjugation drill.
Thanks!
I have researched French courses extensively and decided to purchase Rocket Languages as most suitable/affordable program that offered excellent learning quality system. I do not have the strongest will to learn on my own and decided to look for a teacher. I tried couple of teachers and I feel I did not give enough and after couple of months I gave up and decided to look for an immersion program in France instead. Now, few months later I have found a program in France I want to attend however some reviewers of that immersion program suggested it may be all too hard for beginner. I have therefore decided to go back to Rocket Language as I have 4 months before the course and I am finding the course material really useful and interesting and interactive. I also like the fact that I can visualize how much work I put in everyday by seeing the number of points and change in my badges.
Overall I think it suits me better than a teacher at this moment as I can spend an hour at work and some time at home too. I would recommend it to anyone.
I'm really enjoying Rocket French. I find the lessons intuitive and easy to follow. The audio lessons are enjoyable to listen to, and the Rocket Record feature is extremely helpful, allowing me to compare my pronunciation with that of the native speaker. I feel I am already making good progress, and would recommend the programme highly! I'm planning to supplement what I learn here with additional study, and future visits to France, in order to get lots of practice speaking! Although it's still early days, it is likely that I will progress to the next level of Rocket French after I complete this one.
I would benefit from hearing some additional native voices, both male and female, because sometimes Marie-Claire's pronunciation or pitch or tone eludes my tired old ears. More people pronouncing the same words and phrases might help me "average out" my enunciation. Otherwise I am satisfied with Rocket-French.
