I am in the last (7th) Module of Level 1.

Generally, I like the course because it is very structured and explains language concepts very well. I like that there are dedicated grammar lessons that clearly concentrate on building your grammar foundations. A complete opposite of Duo Linguo which has no grammar explanations at all.

Some people find the humor in the course stale but I have no issue with it (not great but not bad either, tolerable).

The course does a pretty bad job in all flashcards and speaking (translation) excercises when the "you" word needs to be translated into German (translates to one of "du", "ihr", "Sie"). None of them are commented so you just make frustrating mistakes. There should be clear hints what is expected there.

The lessons are generally very long (often takes an hour to finish) which is not great. I think they should be broken up to smaller lessons that are no longer than 30 minutes. Due to the long time required to finish a lesson, I often cannot finish one during a single day and can only do the remaining part next day.

The Android app has been rewritten since I started the course and it is much better now (huge improvement there, congrats to the devs).

one of the best if not the best medium for learning new languages systematically. seamless and easy to use interface.
emphasis on speaking and many notes on grammar which is not found in different platforms.
highly recommend for people who wanna learn the language up to advanced level

I have self learn german for like 2 months. my foundation is limited and my grammar is not as strong as it should be. rocket german give me really good explanation. by far this is my most favorite learning method for german.

The speaking does not always match correctly. You can perfectly pronounce a word and still get it wrong, which is frustrating as it holds your progress until you give up. Meine Frau ist Deutsch.

With the promotion, the price is very attractive. The way how it is structured is quite useful, especially it can recognize how accurate I speak, also I need to listen and understand. It is much effective and efficient comparing the normal one way learning.

This is the best way that I have ever found to learn a language! It is easy to understand, and the lessons aren't too long. Highly recommend!

I've tried other courses, learning some German but always struggled. This course has staying in my memory from the very first lesson and I'm very pleasantly surprised. It can be a little intense covering a lesson in full - I have chronic fatigue - but it's worth the hard work. Even with my problems, I'm learning solidly. The case system always broke me because it's taught too rigidly. I'm already using prepositions correctly when talking to myself around the home because Rocket appears to be teaching me to hear what's right or not. Glad I didn't quit and signed up to Rocket instead.

I would love to see more test lengthier test material to really test your knowledge other than that Rocket language is one of the best.

So far I am satisfied with the course, the price seemed steep for only one language but so far I am liking it. We will see about customer service when or if I need it.
I believe I would recommend it a friend so far.
