This program is great. I am a Chinese and I do speak English and Mandarin, but Spanish is something totally different. I hope this wonderful Spanish learning web site can help me learn fast so I can start communicate with my wife's family.
All in all, I think the program is great, I didn't use any customer service or any help from the site yet, so I cannot make any comment on that.

Frankly, I think Rocket Italiano is very good. Though it is slow going for me, it does seem thorough. I do think the price is perfect and if I get through this first course, I will continue with the next course. I am going to Sicily at the end of June and the first part of July, so I hope I have it somewhat together by then.

Motivation to learn a different language is the key. I like the way Rocket Italiano has provided different ways to keep this interesting. The testing is interesting, as is trying to speak the way the instructors speak. I have not gone through the entire course step by step, but I have jumped around a bit and keep coming back for more.

I am wondering though if there is a major difference between the Italian language and the Sicilian language. I have relatives in Sicily and I am going to try to communicate with them when I am visiting. Some of them I have never met. It should be interesting. I will continue the course when I get back and if I am comfortable enough, I will enroll in the next Rocket Italiano course. As of right now though, it seems that I have a long way to go.

On the plus side, the website is attractive and functions well. The interactive lessons are well-structured and nicely done. I appreciate that they make continued improvements, such as the addition of Write It in the testing sections. Also appreciate that both sound and text are downloadable and the website allows you to listen to only the parts of the lessons you want. I haven't taken advantage of any "social" features like the Forum but I appreciate that Rocket tries to foster a community. The "points" system is an interesting idea.

On the downside, I think there's too much repetition of non-essential vocabulary in the testing sections (I really don't think lesson or unit are words to keep hammering me with). I also think built-in flashcards linked to My Vocabulary would be nice or perhaps automated flashcards for each section. It's also not clear the sequencing of the lessons. This is partially intentional but you'll find yourself tested on material you haven't seen if you don't move across all the lesson types. That said, I've given feedback to the team on many points and they've nearly always been responsive and eager to help and take feedback.

Very good language course, giving the appropriate amount of information required at your stage of development! It doesn't swamp you with too much grammar, only enough to keep you seeking more, using your own initiative.

the incremental approach along with the programmed steps/lessons makes the learning process much easier than deciding on your own what to study and how to study. Also, the repetition of key words/phrases from earlier lessons in subsequent lessons really does solidify the material. I also really like the MegaFrench modules. There is so much variety to the available tools. If you want to hit it hard you can use the dialogue lessons/review/know it; if you want to get exposure without too much effort, you can do the games. Brilliant!

great. easy way to learn. having lots of fun and exercising my mind. this is a fun, educational way to spend a snowy day in Pennsylvania. I would highly recommend this course to both young and old alike. wonderful language aid for school children and fantastic way to deter dementia in the elderly.

Great support team. Attitude and availability of support team makes a very significant difference in motivating the student to learn a new language (like French in my case). My experience is that a teacher (or a course support team) impacts directly student's success in completing a course.

The study has been very good so far. I hope to continue till I have completed the program. The program has helped me very much in the learning of French. When I travel to French speaking countries I will be well prepared to talk it French speaking people.

I take the Spanish Course and it is simply amazing. After 3 years of high school Spanish 7 years ago I have never spoken Spanish again. Now i have a South American girlfriend which created the wish to be able to speak with her in Spanish rather than English. I am doing great improvements and I seriously did not think at it to be that easy. The sections are split up within a fair amount of work. There is never the feeling of "I am getting bored". I normally do 3 sessions only the listening and after that I do the H,Q,K sections. This is pretty fast and I already see my degree coming closer :-D ! I highly recommend Rocketlanguage for anyone who wants to learn the basics of any language as fast as possible. Just as a quick example, my girlfriend is taking Rocket German courses and is already able to talk with me and nearly understands everything. And all this after only 2 and a half months of studying. Pretty Amazing !!!
