Find out what actual users have to say about our courses through their Rocket Languages reviews.
I only been using this program for a week and I absolutely love it! Rocket languages over exceeded my expectations. I was wary at first about the price, but already a week into the program. I feel like it will be well worth it.
Great lessons, which bring you in at a manageable rate. I like the way flash card reviews are included with spaced repetition.
Letters that are not in English are usefully emphasised.
I would like some explicit grammar and better writing lessons.
My rating for the price is for me personally. I am flat broke and it is nearly $Aus150 in Australia. If I wasn't desperate to learn, I wouldn't have bought it.
Rocket German may lack the polished visual presentation of other language apps but makes up for this in the way it introduces you to the German language and develops your knowledge and skills. The audio course content is well presented and comprehension and understanding of the course is reinforced after each audio lesson. My personal view is that this is the best app based language app you can buy having tried other well known brands.
I completed all French lessons from the most popular online language learning course. When I finished, I couldn't carry on a conversation. I chatted with another student online who had taken the same classes, and he told me not to become discouraged. He went through the lessons three times before he became comfortable. That shouldn't be necessary. I decided to try Rocket French instead. In a few days, I was able to start speaking simple and useful sentences! This may be a matter of learning style; different people learn differently, but there is no question that Rocket French is better for me. The other learning program is total immersion with no explanations in English. Simple things like "de le" is "du" is something I had to figure out, whereas Rocket French explains that and it's so much easier. There is so much conversational practice in French that I don't feel that I'm missing out by reading explanations in English. I leave for Paris in a few weeks, and I already know so much more than I did a week ago! Today I will complete Module 1 and over the weekend I hope to finish Module 2. Making such quick progress has made me obsessed! By the time I go, I expect to be comfortable ordering food in a restaurant, shopping, and meeting new people in French! Of course I can't become proficient in such a short time, but French people I've spoken with are very patient when we try to learn. Merci beaucoup Rocket French!
it is good and easy to learn any language in any time any where just all you need is internet and your attention it is super easy i hope every one needs to learn any new language they should try this web site
with all my respects
First of all I am delighted that I got on this wonderful and helpful website, It has got what every language learner need, they can easily learn, I really enjoy the lessons I studied, thank you a lot.
The 3 rated review was not from the content in the program. I feel the lessons are terrific. However, I would like to see a company recommended approach to beginning study in the program. I began by doing the lessons one at a time. Is there a better way or are there some other alternative approaches. Would appreciate your assistance.
Rocket Italian has been super helpful for me. My boyfriend is Italian and this course allowed me to communicate in his native country with his family. There are some glitches such as sensitivity with the hear it, say it part of the course, and a bug with the certification, but they are really good about fixing things.
I got Rocket Russian about a year ago because I wanted to learn it since Russian was my first language but I moved to U.S. when I was 8 years old. I also have speech deficit which makes it harder for a person like me to relearn a language as hard as Russian. One month after buying the Russian course, I learned more vocabulary that it helped me when I went to Russia to visit my family, obviously every one noticed that I have a strong English accent but either way it helped me to communicate with people in markets and stores that. after I came back to U.S. I bought myself American Sign Language which was very nice and I love that course too! I hope that Rocket Languages will make Turkish and Finnish courses soon :) (sorry for bad grammar, still learning English)
This is everything I was searching for in a beginner's language course; writing, speaking, listening, reading, and most importantly, a one-on-one experience. I was most worried that I wouldn't get the right kind of instruction without a teacher or professor, but the interactive audio lessons are exactly that. Everything is explained clearly and concisely, with a bit of humor to keep you attentive. Something I wasn't aware of or expecting were the typing lessons, which have definitely assisted my comprehension of the Japanese keyboard system. I know this will last me a while, and I can always redo the earlier lessons to keep myself refreshed.
