I love Rocket Language. I have been searching for ways to learn Japanese for like literally forever! And when I came across Rocket Language, I could already write a paragraph in Hiragana, and read it! Rocket Language was like the best thing that could ever happen in my life.
Overall this is great as it focus on speaking which is my favourite part of language learning.
The problematic part for me currently is not being able to just download the French audio conversations only.
I do not wish to go through the English parts of the lesson and will really prefer a French only audio to help improve on my listening skills as well.
The audio is there but the download button isn't for the French only parts.

Hi Chua - You can download all the French conversations in one audio track from lesson 8.1.
I found the courses interactive! Better than using Duolingo for the first month as this helps me to build a base and interest in learning the language. But I kind of get to a plateau after finishing level 2, so I go to do the travelogue, which is quite fun. Though at the first half of travelogue, I found the story plot is like kind of missing something, luckily the later part improves a lot with more conversation. But it is frustrating that there isn’t a all-merge dialogue that includes all the audios from previous lessons, like the review audio in level 1,2,3. So basically I can’t go hand-free to listen back the dialogues that I have gone through while I am cooking, running ...etc. And the updated version of level 1,2,3 is putting away something I found very nice - that’s having the conversion dialogue at the end of the same lesson page, instead of putting them at the “all conversation” part. Hope these features can be added and improved. Thanks!

Hi Ka - I will be in touch via email to get more clarification on your suggestions!
I have only had it one day and love it already. I'm looking forward to my journey.
I find Alessando’s dumbing down side comments unnecessary and interrupts concentration. Childish, tedious and unprofessional. Thank you.
Rocket (Spanish) is, I believe, a great language learning program. I say “I believe” because I have been using it a short time and have not successfully learned a Spanish, yet.
Pros:
I chose Rocket over courses from other companies because the trial demonstrated that it is more thorough.
It also seemed to focus on Mexican Spanish instead of European. Since I live in California, this is important to me.
The instructors are very clear and entertaining. Pro reviews say they are a bit cheesy but I do not think so.
A clean user interface that works well on my iOS devices. It is not as pretty as, say, Memrise or Duolingo, but it is well structured.
For my learning styles I feel the audio lesson, followed by an activity, flash cards, reading, writing and quiz is more thorough than any others have to offer.
Lessons are downloadable on my iOS devices, but...
Cons
...i stay in a hotel with poor wifi and although I download the lessons at home, for some reason my iPad (wifi only) will sit there and spin like its trying to stream the lesson, even though i had previously downloaded it, and this prevents me from even using the lesson at all when it does this
VERY EXPENSIVE. I paid almost $300 for the program for all levels lifetime.

Hi Brian - Good news! The 2021 Edition of our courses will be out soon and all current members, like yourself, will get that update for free.
Today is my 100th consecutive day [I am on 13.1] I am so glad I purchased RS.
Take advantage of their free trial and see for yourself.
I researched a variety of Spanish learning options. I decided I needed a solid, well-thought-out program that would be my every single day go-to “class”. I get to read as I listen (visual learner) and then I do their Activities. Later I use many other inputs (podcasts, youtube, readers, duolingo story, children’s bible) with my interest (bees, surfing, running) being the guide and allow myself to hop around on a whim.
With the confidence I gained, I finally cooked up enough courage and began using ConversationExchange. This has led me to ‘just going for it’ with locals I think might be monolingual Sp speakers. My Sp is ‘not perfect’, but I can communicate and I am improving every day, and having fun!
Some highlights of RS for me: I can listen on my trail runs and biking, interesting hosts/topics, Activities (what you sow is what you reap), ‘pep-talk’ section, cogent, computer or phone, convenience. It forced me/allowed me to develop my listening/speaking at my own pace and comfort level. Hopefully next summer will be covid-safe to visit Costa Rica and I will have completed Level 3 (with lots of review also) and I will be even stronger with my Sp.
I received Rocket Italian as an xmas gift at my request after my old version of Rosetta Stone Italian became outdated and unusable. It has been a major disappointment and is so frustrating I've turned to the free version of Duolingo instead. All the cutesy little exchanges between "Alex" and "Maria" are infantile and a waste of time. So much time is wasted in these courses. It's hard enough to find time to study a foreign language without all this useless filler. Unfortunately between medical issues and Covid, I just recently started to use this software so I am beyond the 60 day return/refund window. I feel badly that my husband wasted all this money on this terrible app. Save your money and use Duolingo or if you want a real program go to Rosetta stone.
Response from Rocket Languages
Hi Miki - The first level (featuring Alex and Maria) is a beginners level, so the amount of Italian introduced is gradual with lots of explanations in English. As you progress through the lessons/levels the amount of Italian gets greater and more advanced.
When I first started University back in 2017 I decided to take on the Japanese language and looked at so many resources. Rocket languages came up back then but I passed on it because of the price (poor student life). I tried many other resources but none of them really teach the language more than show you some phrases and make you memorise stuff.
I decided to try learn the language again and after finishing all the free lessons I figured I should make use of the discount and took the dive to purchase the course. I have only been learning for 4 days so far but in that time I have learnt more that I did in 2 weeks back when I first tried.
Everything is covered from written language, spoken language, grammar, you name it!
Highly recommend Rocket Japanese to anyone looking to give it a try. I'm sure the other languages are great too!
I am very happy I decided to take advantage of the discount sale and buy the Russian package because I am really enjoying it however I would caution that these programs are obviously for more beginner level learners which I am for Russian. I wouldn't buy it if I was trying to improve in the the higher levels.
Response from Rocket Languages
Hi Gin - Please note that there is a Level 2 of Rocket Russian, which is more advanced than Level 1!
