I am very happy with the app for learning conversational skills. I particularly value the practice and reinforcement elements.
I just started the advanced course and I find the conversation very difficult to follow. It is hard to
Understand because the speech is fast and slurred not clearly spoken. Especially when new words and phrases are used..
The first two courses don’t prepare you well enough with verb conjugation either.

Almost 2 months in, I've requested a refund. I hate this ridiculously juvenile course.
I hate this course so passionately. It's juvenile, stupid "silly" and so so SO annoying. I literally do not understand how any adult could do this course. I cannot stand the banter with Amy for another second. Does irritation, annoyance, and flat-out anger increase retention? If so maybe Rocket Spanish is on to something...but I want to shake the people leaving positive reviews and ask them what the WHAT is wrong with them. I beg you, do the free trial lesson of whatever level, and if you're annoyed with all the English stupidity, know that it does NOT get better. It does not decrease. It will only get worse. If you love Amy's voice, speaking in English, and want to listen to her kid around, this course is for you. OR...if you don't care about the audio lessons. I think buried in this course is some good content. And I know it's not meant to be audio-only. But the audio is THAT bad. Just don't do it. Maybe do it high or something. Might be tolerable. Probably not.

Response from Rocket Languages: Thanks so much for your review. We're sorry to hear that you are not enjoying the tone of the Rocket Spanish lessons. We try to strike the right balance between fun lessons that aren't too silly/annoying or too dry/boring. It's not always to everyone's tastes, and of course, we don't get it right all the time. Rocket Spanish is usually pretty well-received by our learners, but we do appreciate all of the feedback that we get. We will pass your comments on to the Rocket Spanish team for their consideration. All the best with your language learning!
I am having an awesome time and moments leaning Spinach in a really fun ways on Rocket Languages.
glad that my best friend gifted me this course for my birthday <3
I love Rocket Spanish it is so smart and fun it help me learn Spanish a lot
This program makes learning Spanish much simpler than what I remember in school!
Blows Duolingo out of the water. I purchased this program for my teens before we make a trip to Latin America. We're enjoying it!
Very easy to learn with this program. I am enjoying it very much.
I bought all 3 levels and just finished Level one. This is my first review and Im glad I waited until completing the first level because many of the areas that I thought were lacking have been addressed. I am very happy that so much info has been added in the language classes. Of course, the conversations are good, especially to practice listening, but without the language lessons all you are doing is memorizing phrases, which isn't all that useful in real life. I do the language lessons with a pen and legal pad at my side to take notes and write down important rules and vocabulary to review later. Before I move on to level 2 I intend to go back and repeat many of the individual language lessons. It was tempting to just run through the course and finish all the work as quickly as I could get the answers right, but, of course, a lot more effort in really studying and understanding the material presented is needed. Expect to spend several hours to even several days on each module reviewing new info, grammar and vocabulary if you really want to become conversant.
I think the Rocket format is a solid tool for learning - especially for beginners. Each lesson is a conversation between two people that you study and use to learn vocabulary and grammar. I always enjoyed that the format gave me little "stories" I could grab on to as memory aids. It really gave me a great start.
As my enthusiasm waned, as it always will when learning something new and moving past the beginner phase, I found that the rocket format started to bog me down a little. Some lessons would have over 60 phrases to practice and memorize. I'd get bogged down trying to get through the homework. I felt my learning speed was slowing down as I entered Level 2 of the course, and I began to turn to other tools like "Spanish Dict (spanishdict.com)" to augment the material and speed me up.
I think the course could be improved drastically in three ways.
1) Shorten Lessons. People like to move through lessons quickly. It produces a sense of accomplishment. This means, reducing the number of phrases to be mastered in each lesson.
2) Enhance Memorization Tools. There are well known systems for reviewing words and the idea of building a deck of flashcards you can continuously review is missing from the toolkit of Rocket Spanish.
