This free audio lesson is all about Sports in Spanish. A lot of the vocabulary when talking about sports in Spanish is similar to English, which gives you a head start in remembering the words when you read or hear them, or have to use them in conversation.
Most people tend to enjoy some kind of sport and, as a conversation starter, it can be a great way to find common interests with other people that you meet. If you would like to ask another person, What sport do you play? you simply say, ¿Qué deporte practicas? The appropriate response is then, Me gusta _____.
