Great course the interaction is good and makes the learning process easy
Great learning program that immerses you quickly in French. I am enjoying it thoroughly.
I've only done 2 lessons so far but I really like the way its being taught and that the narrator, Paul has a good sense of humor makes it fun.
I truly like the lessons. They help me developing my listening and speaking skills.

Found the easiest web to learn new language. It's so simple and no need a teacher
Well balanced approach to the learning is what's really working for me; this is not just a bunch of grammatical rules put together, it merges the traditional ways of learning with more modern, comprehension oriented methods.
I wish I knew about this service earlier.
I used Duolingo for over a year, and in the first hour of using Rocket French I saw things that never appeared in Duolingo once. This may seem absurd, but I am confident that Duolingo is largely composed of computer generated material. There is no other way they can provide so many courses with only ad revenue and still be profitable. Creating a language course requires a level of detail on par with designing a motorized scooter from the ground up. Though a scooter can be used by anyone from any walk of life; these courses have to be completely remade for each language.
That's why it's so expensive; the only way to make a language course is to spend a tremendous amount of time on it. There are no shortcuts; everything has to be handmade. You can tell they did this, as it is clear, understandable, and consistent. Outside of taking a class with a teacher, this is the best course you can get.
As a beginner I find it useful to practice pronunciation
The software is pretty good so far. Eventually, more interactive speaking via unexpected questions or commentary to respond to as well as slang would be useful. Entire, paragraphs of speech (some of which I assume will come in more advanced lessons) to have to parse and then respond to in a novel way it seems would be effective.
Also, since language seems to be acquired more effectively through speaking, a way of separating pure speaking instances from reading instances of the same words and phrases, would be useful. Developing learning which does not rely on picturing words in the mind first when they are spoken to you, but a purely separate verbal memory would seem to be useful.
The drilling of the material in various forms is effective. The repetition that comes from it is needed; I know by other experience.
Again so far so good!
