Recording

Onegai shimasu and Onegai Itashimasu

When meeting and expressing "nice to meet you", can it be said as "yoroshiko onegai itashimasu" instead of saying "yoroshiko onegai shimasu". Will it be extra polite to say this in case of a formal situation ?
